1. Cancellation by the Organizer
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:
In the event of cancellation by the organizer, all attendees will be notified via email and/or other communication channels as soon as possible.

4. Transfer of Registration
Attendees may transfer their registration to another individual by notifying the local organizer prior to 7 days before de event. The new attendee must meet any registration requirements including but not limited to, assume the registration fee in case of any difference between the registration fee already paid and that in force at the date of registration of the replacement.
5. Liability Disclaimer
The organizer is not responsible for any expenses incurred by attendees due to cancellation, including but not limited to travel and accommodation costs. Attendees are encouraged to consider purchasing travel insurance to cover such expenses.
6. Waiver
By the sole act of registering, the participant agrees, accepts, and acknowledges that he/she has no right to assert a claim against the Munich Re Foundation (and the rest of the organizers) if the staging of the International Conference on Inclusive Insurance is hindered or prevented by unexpected political or economic events, or generally by force majeure according to the local laws, or if the program changes due non-appearance of speakers or other reasons.
7. Notification of Changes
The organizer will communicate any changes to the event schedule, including cancellations or postponements, via email and the event website. Attendees are advised to check their email and the website regularly for updates.
8. Governing Law
All legal relations between the participant in the International Conference on Inclusive Insurance and the Munich Re Foundation shall be subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany without regard to conflict of provisions.
Since the event is taking place in the Ecuadorian Jurisdiction, by the sole act of registration, all participants, regardless participant, panelist or attendee, accept that any legal and local dispute derived of the International Conference on Inclusive Insurance such as, but not limited to cancellation by the organizer due to any of the reasons listed above, will be resolved under the Ecuadorian law.
